SHARP-sCO2, “Solar Hybrid Air to Supercritical CO2 Power Plants” is a 3-year collaborative project funded by the Horizon Europe research program of the European Commission, under Grant Agreement nr. 101083899.
Last 3rd November partners met for the first time at KTH University, the project’s coordinator. During the meeting they established a strategy to move forward in the project. Collaboration will be the start point: a strong cooperation will be the key to achieve the objectives established within the three years.
The project goal is to design, prototype and test critical components which can enable a new cost competitive hybrid PV-CSP plant system, to exploit the use of air as heat transfer fluid and supercritical CO2 cycles as power block.
News, updates and all information will be uploaded here, so everyone could follow and support the project’s evolution.
