On May 21, 2025, the SHARP-sCO₂ Project team showcased exciting research at the Joint Workshop on Smart Operation of Energy Storage Technologies in Future Energy Markets, held at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
Rui Chen presented an innovative hybrid PV-CSP plant concept featuring air-driven sCO₂ Brayton cycles and packed-bed thermal storage, a key development of the SHARP-sCO₂ project. The presentation highlighted the project’s cutting-edge contributions to advanced energy storage and solar power integration.
